Developed from an original Suss Design sweater created in the late 1990s, this lightweight cotton raglan sweater revisits one of our archival finishing techniques.

Unlike some of our chunkier textured cotton sweaters, this lighter-weight knit is designed as an easy everyday layer without sacrificing the character of a hand-loomed garment. Its breathable single-ply cotton construction makes it a true seasonless piece.

Each sweater is knit to order in Los Angeles using custom slub cotton spun exclusively for Suss Knits in North Carolina.

After knitting, every garment is individually hand distressed and hand dyed using our Archive Finish, a multi-step finishing process completed entirely by hand in our Los Angeles studio.

Due to this hand-finishing process, every sweater will vary slightly in color, texture and distressing. These variations are intentional and part of the character of each garment - each is one of a kind.

Production Information:

Orders placed during this release will be included in our First Production Run. This production is limited by our initial yarn spin. Once it has been completed, we'll begin preparing the next production by custom spinning more yarn and share the next release with our mailing list!

After your order is placed, each piece is knit to order, individually hand finished and dyed in our Los Angeles studio. Orders are completed in the order they are received.

As part of our First Production, sweaters are knit to order using our initial custom yarn spin and produced in the order they're received. Please allow approximately 2–3 weeks for production before shipment. Orders will ship in batches as they're completed, and if your sweater is finished sooner, we'll happily send it on its way.

Due to the delicate nature of the hand-dyeing and hand-distressing process, we recommend this garment should be dry cleaned to preserve its finish.
