Developed from an original Suss Design sweater created in the late 1990s, this lightweight cotton raglan revisits one of our archival finishing techniques.

After sharing some of Suss's original production work for The Matrix, the response from our community inspired us to revisit the technique more than 25 years later.

Unlike some of our chunkier textured cotton sweaters, this lighter-weight knit was designed as an easy everyday layer without sacrificing the character of a hand-loomed garment. Its breathable single-ply cotton construction makes it a seasonless piece.

Each sweater is knit to order in Los Angeles using custom slub cotton spun exclusively for Suss Knits in North Carolina.

After knitting, every garment is individually distressed and hand dyed in layers using our Archive Finish—a multi-step finishing process completed entirely by hand in our Los Angeles studio.

Because each sweater is finished individually, variations in color, texture and distressing are expected and intentional. No two Archive Finish sweaters will be exactly alike.

Production:

Each Archive Finish Raglan is knit to order and individually finished by hand in our Los Angeles studio. Orders are produced in the order they're received.

Please allow approximately 1-2 weeks for production before shipment. If your sweater is completed sooner, we'll happily send it on its way.
